Like A Rock
This is a 1962 Chevrolet Pickup Truck.  Several modifications were made in 96-97 by then-owner Larry Woodham of New Market, Alabama.  A 350 Chevy engine was built and installed along with a turbo 350 GM transmission.  A mild cam was used to give the engine a distinct lope, and the  Eldenbrock hi-rise intake and Holley 4 barrel produce plenty of power.

Larry also rebuilt the brakes, front-end and some steering components.  New Ultra wheels (six lug) and 60 series tires were also added.

Inside the truck Larry added new gauges in place of the original ones for engine temperature, oil pressure and charging system.  A tach was mounted on the dash and a seat cover with an 8-point buck's head covers the original seat.

I purchased the truck from Ronnie Goodloe of Huntsville who owned it since February '98.  Ronnie is a co-worker and friend who really didn't want to sell his truck.  After three months of discussions I finally convinced him to let it go.  Purchased March 22, 2000 this ole '62 is now mine !!!

I bought the truck for a toy and a hobby.  Near term I plan to add power steering, new window trim and a good sound system.  Rust has bled through the lower fender and door panels so some grinding, patching and bondo is also planned for the near term.
