TOPS (take off pounds sensibly) is a non profit support group that has a chapter in Boaz/Albertville area at the Pathway Ministries Church, downtown Boaz next to the old Hammer's bldg., meeting every Tuesday evening at 5:30pm weigh-in, 6:30pm meeting, also have chapters in Gadsden area, come visit and join.

Gadsden State Community College Veterans Upward Bound (VUB) is a free program that offers academic services and support to eligible veterans. We proudly serve Marshall County Veterans. VUB is located on the Wallace Drive Campus in Gadsden and at the McClellan Center in Anniston.  Eligibility is not limited to students enrolled at GSCC. Interested veterans are urged to call the Gadsden office at (256) 549-8286.
