The Annual Harvest Festival in Boaz, Alabama is rich in history
and tradition. The current event was started in 1964 to promote shopping
in Boaz but the "Celebration" actually goes back to the depression era
when local merchants sponsored trade days to attract people to town.
This years event was better than ever with a good mixture of arts and crafts,
entertainment, antique cars and trucks, Indian Pow Wow, and Sand Mountain
Cooking.
